The most difficult thing was to capture the apple with the appropriate style so you can tell it's an apple. Something I was successful in was the value in the apple corer.
Katie- You are working very delicately and using layers and shapes of value to define the form of the object. I see there needs to be more definition/value added to the apple on the left side of the image. The apple disappears into the background, but I don't remember it being that light. I'm excited to see how all three of your pieces work together!
